About Rendez Vous

Located 50 miles north of San Francisco in the heart of California Wine Country in downtown Santa Rosa, Rendez Vous Bistro blends modern convenience with a romantic, distinctly old-world ambience. We have proudly recreated an authentic 1930s French bistro, featuring antique style French lighting fixtures, a custom designed expansive bar, hand laid stone floor, and colorful wall and ceiling murals.

Rendez Vous Bistro is the vision of Nino Rabbaa, a young man of Lebanese heritage, who spent many years in Paris and obviously fell in love with that city.  He has taken that love and transformed it into the most exciting restaurant Santa Rosa has seen since ... well, there’s never been anything quite like it.

Rabbaa fondly remembers the bistros where Parisians congregate to read newspapers, quote Rabelais, discuss politics, and eat, drink and make friends.  Why not re-create such a place in the heart of downtown Santa Rosa?

Our tables and chairs echo traditional Parisian style, adding a cheerful and comfortable element. The expansive heated patio adjoins a cascading fountain, green lawn, and tall redwood trees. It features a tasteful enclosure with removable sides for year-round dining pleasure.

Rendez Vous is a strong supporter of Sonoma County and its growers: we buy from local vendors whenever possible, offering fresh and tempting seasonal fare. Our superb wine collection features delectable vintages from both Californian and French appellations.
